I've moved out!

I've moved in with my boyfriend, so am now looking to rent out my old room. Obviously the cats and fish have come with me but my Flatmate Natalia has remained.
The share is still available but it's always best to contact me through Gumtree or where ever it was you saw the original ad. I'm just too slow on this blog!
The balcony now also has artificial turf and the kitchen and one of the bedrooms is being re-painted today.

About me?

LOL. Some people need to know what I'm like before they'll consider having a look at the share.... fair enough, but what do you say??

I'm 39 (ek!), and have a boyfriend who stays over at the weekend. I work in retail (Deansgate), don't drive and enjoy comedy (live or on the tele). I also love going out with friends to the cinema or for a drink. I no longer have a dead exciting social life (having done more than my fair share of all nighters, I'm now over it!) but I've NO problem living with someone who does.  I'd say I'm clean and tidy but not a 'Monica' (and we probably wouldn't get on too well if you are (cats)!) other than that I'd like to think I'm open minded and laidback. Most people who've lived here have been in their early twenties to late thirties. I've shared the flat since 2002 and totally value peoples privacy.
If it helps any, I don't feel old and goodness only knows what a 39yr old is supposed to act like anyway....

The flatshare is located in Bevill Square, a quiet place close to Trinity Way and Chapel Street (M3 6BB). It's close to loads of decent takeaways, pubs and supermarkets. In fact it has all the convenience of city centre living with few of the drawbacks (the square is quiet, safe, friendly and has parking for example). The neighbours are generally professional types and we get on well with each other. There is a residents association and as this is an established area there aren't many of the problems you can get in the newer developments (lack of security, rude/noisy neighbours, bins a nightmare etc).

In fact, I love it so much I've been here over 10 years! In that time I've had many different types of flatmates, most of whom stay over a year. I've shared with couples and singles, native and foreign born. Most have said I'm easy going, not a neat freak but not too dirty either. I like to socialise, but I also feel that privacy is extremely important (there are locks on the bedroom doors) and I also like to drink but not excessively so.  I'm no longer partying every weekend (unless its Christmas).... And I try to live 'green' but no-ones perfect (there is a LOVELY tumble dryer in the flat).

This blog is to showcase the flatshare that will be available soon. The room is large (3m X 3m) and is equipped with everything you'll need including a double bed and extra storage.

The flat is located in a friendly and safe area close to the city centre with walking distance of all conveniences such as supermarkets, decent pubs / clubs and good takeaways.

There is a car parking space available to the flat although bus stops, tram and train stations are all close by.

The share has two bedrooms, one of which is already taken by a young woman and two cats. The kitchen is large and well equipped with everything you could every need plus a balcony. The bathroom is also very large with electric shower, large enamel bath, wash basin and new toilet.

The share is available to both couples or a single. I have been sharing all my adult life and most people stay at the share for over a year.

More photos can be taken if you prefer, and I'm sure my current flatmate (who's moving back to her native country) can vouch for this being a decent share!

  • To get to the apartment please make use of these sites:

  • If you DRIVE www.theaa.com/travelwatch/planner_main.jsp
  • If you TAKE THE BUS http://nw.aimwebsites.co.uk/JourneyPlanner.jsp?vm_Reset_str=true
  • If you WALK from Deansgate. Take a right out of the North Face shop and right again down Bridge Street. Walk to the very end, past the courts, Salford Central Station and the Kings Arms. At pedestrian crossing at the end cross over carrying on in same direction. On the other side of crossing you'll see black railings. Walk past this in same direction until they end after 20m. Turn right and right again and go through the gates for Bevill Square. There a map you can print off here:www.multimap.com/s/FHvJrJ4j
